The 40 Series Pro Steel range is our recommendation, as these frames are very sturdy and cost-effective. If you need to use the tent multiple times per week, or in harsh environments and weather conditions, you can consider the 50 Series Heavy Duty.
WHICH FABRIC FOR YOUR PRINTED CANOPY TOP?
We always recommend the 600D PVC Coated Polyester fabric, however if your School is located in Northern Territory, Western Australia or North Queensland and you want to use the tent multiple times per week, you may want to consider our 580GSM 100% PVC fabric.

The S10 Pro Steel range is the most popular choice among schools, thanks to its sturdy construction and excellent cost-effectiveness. Its robust steel frame provides reliable strength, making it ideal for regular school use while remaining budget-friendly.
For schools where portability is a priority, the A2 Lightweight Aluminium frame is an excellent alternative. It offers the advantage of being easier to transport and set up, making it a convenient option when weight is an important consideration.
If the marquee will be used very frequently (multiple times per week) or in more demanding weather conditions, we recommend the A4 Heavy Duty Aluminium range. Designed for maximum durability and performance, it provides the extra strength needed for intensive use and harsher environments.
In terms of size, the 3×6 is by far the most popular option for schools, as it provides generous shade coverage for a large number of students. The 3×3 is also a popular choice, particularly where space is limited or for smaller groups.
One of the key advantages of the S10 Pro Steel frame is its weight, which adds valuable stability and enhances safety—an important consideration in school environments where children are present.

The most popular canopy fabric choice for schools is the 600D PVC Coated Polyester, as it offers an excellent balance of durability, protection, and practicality. It provides strong resistance against heat and UV exposure, while remaining lightweight, easy to handle, and visually vibrant, making it ideal for regular school use and custom printed branding.
For schools located in areas with extreme heat, the 580GSM 100% PVC fabric is available as a heavy-duty alternative. This material offers even greater protection against harsh weather and intense sun exposure, making it suitable for more demanding environments.
However, because the 580GSM PVC fabric is heavier, bulkier, and more expensive, we typically only recommend it where the additional protection is genuinely needed. For most schools, the 600D PVC Coated Polyester remains the best all-round option, delivering reliable performance, ease of use, and excellent value.
